Who we are

Escombe Housing is an independent, not-for-profit enterprise that provides rented housing for low income families and home support services for vulnerable people with special needs. It is approved by the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government to provide housing management and related services. Escombe is a member of the Irish Council for Social Housing (ICSH).

Our Service Aims – Focussed on Achieving Outcomes for All

• Provide the appropriate level of support – from high to low depending on client’s needs
• A flexible service that can respond quickly to situations
• Offer preventative measures to reduce risk of tenancy breakdown
• Develop client’s capacity and confidence to live independently
• Maintain safety and security of client within their home
• Overall, improve the client’s quality of life
• Work with all stakeholders – clients, property owners, local authorities, HSE to achieve the outcomes agreed
